Need and motivation of the project:
Technology program aims to improve final process quality, increase safety, develop future eco efficient mine and tunnel service concepts by adding equipment efficiency and productivity by increasing and developing automation and by using innovative design tools and utilizing virtual environments.
Main set targets:
- Increase operator friendly ergonomics
- Underground process automation increase
- New energy source utilization in underground mobile machines
- Intelligent control and reporting systems in mobile machines control and monitoring
- Product life cycle management and service integration as part of machine follow up
